Now: Live in Nottingham es el segundo álbum en vivo de la banda británica de rock progresivo Asia y fue publicado en 1997.​ El álbum fue grabado durante el concierto en el que se reunieron los integrantes originales después de su separación y que se efectuó en Nottingham, Inglaterra, el cual fue el primero de su gira por Europa en 1990.

El álbum fue publicado en 1990 bajo el nombre de Now, como promoción de la gira europea que el grupo realizó en ese mismo año, sin embargo, en 1997 se lanzó como disco oficial.

Asia "Gravitas (Mexican Edition, Scarecrow Records, SR1019)"

Gravitas es el decimotercer álbum de estudio de la banda británica de rock progresivo Asia y fue lanzado en marzo de 2014 por Frontiers Records.​ Este disco es el primero en el que participa el guitarrista Sam Coulson.

Steve Howe, guitarrista original de la agrupación, decidió abandonarla debido a otros proyectos, esto a principios de 2013. Para la sustitución de Howe se pensó en varios músicos, siendo Sam Coulson el elegido. El álbum fue grabado en el mismo año.

Al principio el disco iba a llamarse Valkyrie; sin embargo, se decidió al final que Gravitas sería el título de esta producción.

El lanzamiento de Gravitas se realizó en distintas fechas según la región; en Japón salió al mercado el 19 de marzo,​ en Europa el día 21 del mismo mes y en Norteamérica cuatro días después.​ Frontiers Records fue la discográfica que publicó este álbum.

Este álbum logró algo de éxito en los E.U.A., colocándose en el lugar 159.º del Billboard 200 y en la posición 45.º de la lista Rock Albums, también de Billboard.​ Gravitas sin duda consiguió una mayor aceptación en Europa y en Japón y se vio reflejado en las listas de popularidad. Primeramente, en el viejo continente, este disco entró en los listados de Alemania, Bélgica y Suiza, alcanzando en este último el puesto 24.º.​ Mientras tanto, en el país nipón Gravitas se ubicó en la 42.ª posición del Oricon.

​La reseña de Allmusic corrió por parte de Matt Collar, mencionando al principio de la misma los antecedentes a esta producción musical.​ Ya en lo que se refiere al disco, Collar destaca las habilidades de Coulson en la guitarra, aunque describe a Gravitas como «uno de los discos más reservados de Asia».​ Collar comentó algunos temas del álbum, así como la colaboración de John Wetton y Geoff Downes en lo que a composición se refiere.​ Collar le otorgó una calificación de tres estrellas de cinco posibles.

Al mismo tiempo que la edición regular, se publicó una versión especial limitada que se componía de dos discos compactos y un DVD;​ en el primero era el álbum normal, en el segundo CD se enlistaban dos temas acústicos —en la versión especial japonesa eran tres melodías—,​ mientras que el DVD numeraba el vídeo musical de «Valkyrie», su primer sencillo, la grabación de Gravitas, el vídeo del tema «An Extraordinary Life» en vivo desde Plovdiv, Bulgaria, además de las canciones «Heat of the Moment» y «Only Time Will Tell» con la Orquesta Filarmónica de Plovdiv.

Archiva Vol. 1 & 2 es un álbum recopilatorio de la banda británica de rock progresivo Asia y fue publicado en 2005.​ Fue re-lanzado cinco años después, en el 2010, que incluye fotos, demos y material extra..

Este disco, como su nombre lo menciona, compila los dos álbumes Archiva Vol. 1 y Archiva Vol. 2, los cuales contiene material inédito grabado entre 1988 y 1996 por diferentes músicos invitados.

La edición especial de Archiva Vol. 1 & 2 (la cual fue lanzada meses después), a diferencia de la versión original, incluye cuatro canciones más; «Anytime», «Little Rich Boy» que fueron incluidos en versiones editadas, «Turn It Down», que fue mezclada con un estilo étnico y «Open Your Eyes» en versión acústica.

Asia "Astra"

Astra is the third studio album by British rock supergroup Asia, released on 30 November 1985 by Geffen Records. It was their last full-length studio album with co-founding vocalist and bassist John Wetton until Phoenix (2008), released after the original line-up reunited in 2006. Astra is the first of two albums from Asia—the other being Then & Now—with Swiss guitarist Mandy Meyer, who replaced Steve Howe.

Started in 1984, it marked the return of Wetton to the group after his firing in September 1983. He had been replaced by Emerson, Lake & Palmer co-founder Greg Lake, temporarily, for the concerts at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo in December 1983. The opening night of these shows, highly advertised as Asia in Asia, was the first in the history of MTV to be broadcast via satellite transmission. Following a two-month stint, Lake had left Asia and soon Wetton had been convinced to come back. The latter agreed, but made it a condition to his return that Howe depart the line-up. By the time sessions for Astra began, the group had recruited Meyer, a former guitarist of the Swiss hard rock band Krokus. This personnel change marked a shift in musical direction for Asia to a more edgy, slightly arena rock and metal sound.

Continuing the trend from Alpha (1983), the main composers on Astra were Wetton and keyboard player Geoff Downes. Two songs, "Voice of America" and "Wishing", were started by Wetton during his time away from the group, initially towards a solo album. "Hard on Me" was written solely by Wetton at the end of the sessions, when the label complained about the lack of a potential hit single. One of the out-take tracks, "We Move as One", was used by former ABBA vocalist Agnetha Fältskog for her solo album Eyes of a Woman (1985).

Astra was recorded at Westside Studios, The Townhouse Studios and Sarm West Studios, all of which are located in London. Like the two previous recordings, it was produced by Mike Stone, but this time with the participation from Downes. The album was originally intended to be titled Arcadia, but was changed prior to the release to avoid confusion, when it was learned that a side project of the same name of Duran Duran was being recorded at the same time. The cover artwork was designed by Roger Dean, who had collaborated with Asia since their debut.

Astra has received mixed reception from music critics. Sandy Robertson in his review for Sounds gave the album a rating of just one star out of five. However, Matt Collar has given the album a retrospective rating of three stars out of five on AllMusic. He has called Astra "a solid prog rock outing" and "a truly underrated '80s rock album and a must-hear for fans".

According to Downes, Geffen did not promote Astra as much as they could have, partly, because they were switching their distribution in Europe. Without the support from the label along with general lack of public interest, the album performed poorly commercially in comparison with Asia's two preceding albums. It reached number 67 on the Billboard 200 and spent 17 weeks on the charts. In the group's native United Kingdom, the album performed even worse, peaking at number 68 and staying just one week on the charts. The lead-off single, "Go", reached number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and climbed to number 7 on the Mainstream Rock chart. "Too Late" was released as a promotion only 12" single in the United States and was a minor radio hit, peaking at number 30. The lackluster reception of Astra led to cancelling a supporting tour by Geffen and by 1986 Asia dissolved despite the group not making any official statement.
