Slave To Love is an 18-track compilation of his slower moments, from his first solo album in 1973 up to his latest. Perhaps a little too schmaltzy for the avid Roxy fan, there's no denying the seductive qualities in Ferry's supremely graceful voice. "Avalon", "Oh Yeah", "Slave To Love", a drawn-out version of the Shirelles' "Will You Love Me Tomorrow"... everything is here for a perfect evening of romance.

Asia "Don't Cry (12" Single & Video)"

"Don't Cry" is the first hit single from progressive rock band Asia's second album Alpha. "Don't Cry" reached #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #9 in Cash Box magazine. It was the band's second Top 10 Pop hit, and returned them to #1 on Billboard's Top Album Rock Tracks chart.

Asia "Sole Survivor (7" Single & Video)"

"Sole Survivor" is a song by progressive rock band Asia. Written by Geoffrey Downes and John Wetton, it is the third track and fourth single from the band's 1982 eponymous debut. It was Asia's third single for the U.S Mainstream Rock Charts that reached the Top Ten. The single also peaked at #75 in Germany and #91 in the UK.

The song was covered by Japanese power metal band Galneryus for their 2008 cover album, Voices from the Past II. It was also used in some of the foreign versions of the 1982 Japanese anime Future War 198X.

In 2000, the song was referenced in satirical newspaper The Onion with a brief article titled "Sole Survivor Of Air Crash Has Asia's 'Sole Survivor' Stuck In Head."

Asia "Heat Of The Moment (7'' Single & Video)"

"Heat of the Moment" is the first hit single released by English progressive rock supergroup Asia from their 1982 eponymous debut. It reached #4 in both the Canadian Singles chart and on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was written by singer and bass guitarist John Wetton, and keyboardist Geoff Downes.

The single climbed to the top position on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, remaining six non-consecutive weeks at #1 in the spring and summer of 1982.

The lyrics contain the line, "And now you find yourself in 82". While this was the year the single was released, Wetton has said the number represented a venue.

"Time Again" is the B-side of the UK release. The song was written by all the band members, Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer and John Wetton, and can also be found on the Asia album.

"Ride Easy" is the B-side of the singles released outside of the UK. This song was written by Wetton and Howe. It was never given a regular release on a studio album, but it was included in the EP Aurora, released only in Japan in 1986. During an interview on the 2007 released Asia DVD Fantasia: Live in Tokyo, Wetton indicated that "Ride Easy" is one of his favourite Asia songs.


It was released on CD on The Very Best of Asia: Heat of the Moment (1982-1990).

Asia "Gravitas (Russian Edition, IROND 141838)"

Gravitas is the thirteenth studio album by British rock band Asia, released in 2014. It is the group's final studio album with vocalist/bassist John Wetton before his death in 2017 and the only one to feature guitarist Sam Coulson.

Gravitas was released on CD, deluxe edition CD/DVD-Video (featuring bonus tracks, the "Valkyrie" music video, the making of the album and three tracks recorded live with a full symphonic orchestra in Plovdiv, Bulgaria) and LP. A music video for "Valkyrie" was shot in January 2014 in Los Angeles.

Asia began to work on the new album in the end of June 2013. As this time they decided not to invite an outside producer, it was produced by Wetton and keyboard player Geoff Downes. The instruments were recorded at Steve Rispin's Liscombe Park Studios, located in Buckinghamshire countryside west of Bedfordshire town Leighton Buzzard, where the group had worked on all their previous studio recordings since the reunion in 2006. The vocals were done at Aubitt Studios in Southampton, Hampshire, by Rob Aubrey. The album was mixed and mastered by John Mitchell at Outhouse Studios in Reading, Berkshire, from October to December 2013. "I Would Die for You" was written by Wetton and Downes in 1986 as opposed to the rest of the songs, which were composed in 2013.

Gravitas was originally announced under the name of Valkyrie, but the title was later changed. The cover artwork was designed by Roger Dean, who had collaborated with Asia since their debut album, released in 1982.

Matt Collar gave the album a rating of three stars out of five on AllMusic. He noted that "Asia have always moved back and forth between their radio-friendly pop side and more classical-influenced progressive side" and Gravitas "bends more toward the latter, showcasing Downes and Wetton's longstanding partnership as thoughtful songwriters and technically proficient arrangers". "Valkyrie", "Nyctophobia" and "I Would Die for You" were selected as three "Track Picks".

Gravitas was less successful in terms of sales than its predecessor, but still managed to reach UK Albums Chart and US Billboard 200.

Asia "XXX"

XXX (pronounced Triple X) is the thirteenth studio album by English rock band Asia, released in 2012. It is the fifth and final studio album with the original line-up, consisting of Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer, and John Wetton, due to Howe's departure the following year and Wetton's death in 2017.

The recording sessions took place from January to March 2012 at Liscombe Park Studios, located in Buckinghamshire countryside west of Bedfordshire town Leighton Buzzard, where Asia had worked on their two previous albums. XXX was produced by Mike Paxman and engineered by Steve Rispin. The cover artwork was designed by Roger Dean, who had collaborated with Asia since their first album, released in 1982, and with Yes, which Howe and keyboard player Geoff Downes had previously been members of. Dean updated the symbolic flying dragon and orb to 2012, which is the Year of the Water Dragon in the Chinese calendar. The title of the album features the Roman numeral XXX in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the debut album.

The name features the Roman numeral 'XXX' in commemoration of the thirtieth anniversary of the release of their debut album. The cover artwork was created by Roger Dean. The flying dragon-fish indicates that 2012 was the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese calendar.

XXX was released on CD, Deluxe Edition CD/DVD (featuring new music videos and behind the scenes footage), and on a limited edition vinyl.

Asia "Omega"

Omega is the twelfth studio album by British progressive rock band Asia, released in Europe on 23 April 2010 by Frontiers Records. It is the second to feature all four original members (Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer and John Wetton) after the reunion in 2006.

Omega was recorded from October 2009 to February 2010 at Steve Rispin's Liscombe Park Studios, Buckinghamshire, where Asia had already worked on their previous album, Phoenix (2008). For the first time since the debut album, released in 1982, the group employed an outside producer, Mike Paxman. The cover artwork was designed by Roger Dean, who had collaborated with Asia since their inception and with Yes, of which guitarist Steve Howe and keyboard player Geoff Downes had previously been members. The white tiger on the front cover indicates that 2010 is the Year of the Tiger in the Chinese calendar.

"Finger on the Trigger" was previously recorded by Wetton and Downes's side band Icon for their second studio album.

John Wetton explained the album title: "The title 'Omega', as any fan of the band will tell you, is 'very Asia' (as is the album, by the way). It no more means 'final' than 'Alpha' means 'the first' (which it wasn't). It's a great sounding/looking word, and a bookend to 'Alpha'. In many ways, musically and conceptually, the two albums share commonality".

As with many of Asia's releases, the cover artwork was created by Roger Dean. The white tiger on the front cover indicates that 2010 is the Year of the Tiger in the Chinese calendar. The tiger face also resembles the emblem of a former publishing company named Paper Tiger Books in which Roger Dean was involved in the 1970s.
